Final preparations are underway for the 21st Annual Rehab Telethon which takes place from noon until 9 p.m. Saturday from Centre Court in the Richland Mall.

WMFD again will televise the entire proceedings, which benefit the Rehabilitation Center of North Central Ohio and the many clients who seek its services, ranging from counseling to occupational therapy.

The Rehab Center has several different divisions, including a children's center for excellence and oher departments.

Last year's telethon raised $72,570 and the hope is to better that mark this year.

Many WMFD staffers will help host the telethon or work behind the scenes.

Donations can be made at Richland Mall during the telethon or by calling the numbers that will be shown during the telecast.
