The Crestview Board of Education is moving forward with a random drug testing policy.

Thursday the board reviewed a draft copy of the policy. Crestview Schools Supt. Bill Seder Jr. said the copy will be critiqued over the next several weeks and presented to the board at its next meeting.

The random drug testing would be for high school students who participate in extra-curricular activities and those who drive their own cars to school.

In other business, the board approved the fiscal goals for the upcoming school year.
