Charles S. "Charlie" Cole, V, 73, of Galion, died Saturday, Mar. 13, 2010 at Village Care Center in Galion.

Born Mar. 24, 1936 in Warren, PA, he was the son of the late Charles S. Cole IV and Julia (Yaverski) Cole. He married Judy (Linger) Cole on Dec. 11, 1976 who survives.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed woodworking, oil painting and was a perfectionist. He retired after 28 years from the former Komatsu Dresser in Galion where he last worked in the maintenance department.

He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Kevin Goossens of Centerburg; two step grandchildren, Jim (Tonya) Goossens and Keith Goossens; two step great grandchildren; eight sisters, Ellen, Evelyn, Peggy, Ada, Sherry, Charlotte, Janie, Mary Helen and two brothers, Fred and Timmy.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Lyle.

No Services will be held.
